Filed FL-606A angle to fit into right flap spar. Trimmed FL-606B plates to proper size. Filed edges smooth. Placed angles in vise and used plastic head of hammer to place bend in plates. Made spacers for aileron bellcrank bolt. Riveted rod end bearing for NavAid to 5/8" tube. Drilled pilot holes in right FL-606A for attachment to spar. Should not have drilled 3 holes for root rib, spar and angle attach. Holes in angle do not line up with pilot holes in spar and rib. I had made the 3 pilot holes in angle 7/16" from edge instead of 5/16". Will have to adjust holes in rib, spar and angle. Drilled 606A angles to each 606B plate.
