Drilled 4 holes in rudder horn, then placed brace and drilled horn and brace together. Drilled holes in each side of brace w/#41 bit and then dimpled. Drilled brace to web of rib w/#30 bit. Redrilled holes in skin, rib and brace w/#30 bit to accomodate CS-4 rivets. Redimpled all holes w/-4 dimple die. Trimmed rudder attachment strips to fit around brace. Used Scotchbrite wheel. Using pneumatic squeezer, riveted brace and web together. Using hand squeezer because of deeper throat, riveted brace to rudder horn. Used pneumatic squeezer in riveting most of rudder skin and skeleton together, and rudder attachment strips. Used hand squeezer for the rest because of the deep throat. Used flattened vise grips for rivets at end of 404 ribs.
