Brief Description:  Pressure Applied to Fairing Flange

A small triangular piece was laid on the fuselage side, in front of the leading edge. The idea is that this piece will overlay on the cut lines of the strips in an attempt to clean up the area. It might just have been overkill. We will see.

The left flange of the fairing was sticking up, even though the cloth was on top of it. The cloth did not pull the flange down. Jeff Paden suggested that weights could be placed on it to make the flange take the proper shape. I got a piece of angle and put packing tape on it. The angle was then laid on the flange with 2x4's on top and cloth and two sandbags were laid on the boards. Hopefully this will be enough to move the flange back into the proper shape.
