Brief Description: Made a New Edge on Left Elevator Fairing
The left elevator fairing extended beyond the HS fairing by about 1/8". Reference lines were drawn on the fairing in order to make a new lip so that the front portion of the fairing could be pulled into the elevator. The fairing was clamped to the workbench and a length of angle clamped to the fairing. The angle was used as a fence. The Dremel was used with a sanding wheel to make a new lip on both edges. The fairing edges were then sanded to remove enogh of the edges to allow the fairing to be set into the elevator. The fairing now is in alignment with the HS fairing.
