Brief Description: Made Aluminum Tube for Fuel Pump Vent Line
I had ordered a 1/4'' 3003 aluminum tube for the fuel pump vent line. I cut off a 6" length of tubing and bent it into the approximate shape. A 1/4" hole was drilled in the bottom of the fuselage and firewall flange for the tube to poke thru. The tube was inserted into the plastic tube and then safety-wired. A piece of plastic tube was placed over the aluminum tube, which was then tie-wrapped to the engine mount, per Van's plans.
