Brief Description: Removed and Flared Fuel Line-Firewall-Gascolator
I emailed Tom Swearingen-TS Flightlines re the 3/8" aluminum tube between the fuel firewall fitting and the gascolator. He recommended that the tube be wrapped in firesleeve. I talked with Chris-Integrated Aircraft Systems in Solon on the recommendation of George Gilby, Medina mechanic. Chris said that they would be able to add firesleeve to it
I took the tube off and double-checked the flares. One flare was not flared deeply enough. I borrowed George's flaring tool and finished the flare. Both flares were cleaned up and smoothed.
