Brief Description: Installed Moveable Center Seat Rib
The moveable center seat rib had the small section cut off, as well as the right seat rib section. The cut lines were cleaned up with the Scotchbrite and die grinder. A piece of 3/8" plastic tube was slit and laid around wires that were going past the moveable center seat rib. This should keep the wires from rubbing against the sharp corner of the rib. The rib was bolted to its adjoining rib. The manual trim control was screwed to the two center ribs.
A nut and two washers, a regular and a thin washer, were screwed onto the bolts holding the control sticks to the center control bar. Van's plans do not address the particular cotter pin to be used with the AN4-27 bolt. Some trial and error was used to find the proper cotter pin. I decided to use a MS24665-210 cotter pin.
