Walt Halloran masked over the gold and dark blue painted areas with white paper. Walt painted green along the edges of the blue areas for the border. After the green paint dried, a 3/4" line of tape was applied next to the tape line. This will be the green accent line. Light blue was then painted on the wings, ailerons, and flaps. Three coats of light blue were applied.
A rectangle of green was sprayed at the top of the wingwalk area on each wing. A black wingwalk mat will be glued on the wing. The wingwalk mat has the letters 'RV 6' cut out of it at the top. The green rectangle will appear thru the letter cutouts.
The empennage fairing was touched up at the forward tip with blue.
