Brief Description: Installed Archer Nav Antenna into Right Wing Tip
The nav antenna was installed in the top of the right wing tip. I had not read the installation instructions before the nutplates had been riveted to the doublers and wing tip. i found that it is recommended that the antenna is placed under the doublers and then drilled and riveted to the doublers and wing tip. This provides better grounding of the antenna. Four nutplates had to be drilled out. The antenna was clamped under the doubler and then match-drilled.
