Brief Description: Temporarily Installed Hobbs Meter Pressure Switch
In order to have the Low Oil Pressure warning light illuminate, the light has to be wired to something. Gary Wirrell said that a Hobbs meter pressure switch should be used. The switch will open at about 4 psi, sending a signal to the warning light which turns the light off. The switch was ordered from Aircraft Spruce and screwed onto the manifold. The switch is sitting very close to a camloc, so that needs to be investigated.
