Brief Description:  Inserted EDC-10A Wires into Connector

I had talked with Jason-Aerotronics a few days earlier after attempting to determine how to wire the EDC-10A 6-pin connector with only four wires. Jason suggested removing the connector from the remote magnetometer and pinging the wire ends. I crawled into the baggage area and removed the connector. I matched up the wires with the connector positions and noted on the wiring diagram.

The shield was cut back and another wire was soldered into it. Heat shrink was then applied around it and the other wires.

Jason said pins 3 and 6 did not need to be used, as these were grounds from the shielded wire that Aerotronics had used. Dynon does not normally use the shielded wire, so those pins are not used. The wires were inserted into the connector as follows: 1-white/orange; 2-white; 4-white/blue; 5-shield.
