The stainless steel tubes were shortened using the Dremel cut-off disk. A bracket was made and a 7/16" hole drilled in one end. This hole allows the bracket to be attached to the bolt that attaches the alternator to the engine attach bracket. The washer was replaced with this bracket.
The alternator bracket also had a #40 hole drilled in it so the the 5/16" bolt can be safetied.
A bracket of .050" material was cut out to set on top of the aft end of the carb heat inlet.
