After using the grinder to clean up the loose glass, I used 60 grit sandpaper to smooth out the new glass areas. The gaps between the carb heat box and the air inlet were not completely covered over by the strips of fiberglass. I mixed up epoxy resin and flox to apply around those areas. The aft corner areas of the carb heat box were filled with tissue paper and then flox was placed on top of the tissue. The tissue acted as a back stop for the flox.
