The microballoon mix was sanded on the fairing. There is still a low spot on the right underside fairing.
I placed painting tape on the fuselage, VS, and HS and then placed the fairing back in place. An outline of the fairing was drawn on the tape. The fairing was removed. The flexible ruler was clamped to the edges and lines were drawn for sanding.
