The Dynon oil temperature sensor needed to be safetied, but no holes were drilled in the sensor for safety wire. I began to drill a #58 hole in the sensor and broke off the drill bit in the hole. The bit could not be retrieved, so I drilled another hole in the other side of the sensor. A new crush washer was installed and the sensor was fitted using the 135 degree rotation method. The sensor was then safetied, attaching the wire to the oil line hose.
The engine ground wire was reattached to the firewall.
