Brief Description: Made Doubler for Under Right Inlet Cowl Ramp
I could not find any reference to any doubler under the right inlet cowl ramp, but felt the one piece ramp needed reinforcement. I found a long strip of.125" aluminum in my scrap box and cut it to length. I measured the layout of the underside of the ramp and marked it out on the strip. I drilled 1/4" holes in the corners and used the hacksaw and Dremel to cut off the sides. The edges were all smoothed out. I laid a rivet pattern of 1 1/4" spacing along the doubler and drilled the doubler to the ramp. After numerous checks and filing, the doubler was fit into position.
