Brief Description: Tirmmed Sides of Cowls/Drilled Bottom to Brace
I took the cowlings off, and first trimmed the bottom and then sanded the top. There were about six removals of the cowlings to get the trimmed and sanded edges to line up together. I used aluminum tape to keep the cowlings together. I would fold over an edge of tape for easier removal and then stick part of the tape on the top cowling. The tape would then be ready for attaching to the bottom cowling to hold it up. I drilled the bottom edge of the bottom cowling to the support brace, with 3'' spacing, three holes per side.
