Brief Description: Torqued Engine Mount Bolts/Bent Fuel Line Tubing
Tim Conway brought a socket attachment borrowed from his brother. This was attached to the ft-lb torque wrench so that the upper engine mount bolts could be torqued. The torque values of 450-500 in-lbs, or 37.5-41.6 ft-lbs, were noted on the drawings. The additional length of the socket attachment reducd the torque values by about 4 ft-lbs. The cotter pins were inserted after the bolts were torqued. The engine mounting is complete! Tim helped me with bending the tubing for the firewall-gascolator connection.
