Brief Description: Installed Oil Pressure Fitting on Engine
I installed the oil pressure fitting onto the engine. I talked with Tom Cullen, IA at Wakeman Airport, about the installation and to see what he applied to the threads of the fitting. He said that he used Permatex or something similar, so I spread Permatex on the threads and tightened the fitting in place. The manual says to have the fitting pointing at a point between the right gear and straight back to the firewall. I was able to get the fitting pointed to the gear, but the fitting was very tight.
