Brief Description: Ordered BNC Connectors/Cut .063" Pieces for Camloc
I sorted out my orders received from Avery's and Aircraft Spruce. Steve Vilimonovic called me re the BNC connectors and suggested that I make sure that they match the RG-400 wire I am using, because there are different connectors for the various size of wires. I checked and found that my connectors were for RG-58 and did not work with the RG-400 wire. I called Isaac-Aerotronics and ordered ten connectors for the RG-400 wire. He will take back the other connectors from me.
I cut five 2 1/2" wide pieces of various lengths out of .063" sheet. These pieces will be riveted around the firewall for attaching the MilSpec camlocs and the cowling. I smoothed all of the edges on the Scotchbrite wheel. I placed the engine mount in place to see how the pieces fit next to the firewall.
