Brief Description:  Control Cable Bracket/Air Vents/Firewall

I used the cutoff wheel in the Dremel to cut out a section from one of the scrap seat floor pieces. This piece will serve as a bracket attached to the instrument subpanel for the control cables to be clamped to.

I enlarged some holes on the firewall recess and the firewall for some AN525 screws and AN4 bolts. Adel clamps and grounds will be attached at these locations. I cut to length and attached black tubing to both air vents and zip-tied them. Per the plans, I marked and drilled two holes in the firewall for the throttle and the carb heat cables and enlarged them to 5/8" and 3/8" respectively. They are one inch apart at the center point. After drilling these holes, I looked at the steel grommets I was planning to use. The closeness of the holes will not allow me to use both of the grommets, only one. I will enlarge the throttle cable hole to 1 1/8" for the grommet and use bushings and Proseal for the carb heat cable.
