Brief Description:  ELT Position/Riveted Brackets to Fwd Skin

I hand cut a piece out of one of the seat pans that will not be used. This piece will be used as a support for the ELT. My initial plan was to bend the ends and rivet the plate to the stringers along the side of the fuselage. I changed my thinking to placing the ELT on the floor of the fuselage and attach it by using brackets riveted together like the strobe power supply was done.

Using the rivet gun and bucking bar, I riveted the two center brackets to the instrument top skin. Prior to doing that, I had to file down one side on each bracket to ensure clearance with the add-on brackets on the two side ribs.

I helped Jeff with the unloading of his Mustang center undercarriage section, that he had just picked up from Titan.
