I checked the angle of the remote magnetometer bracket. After setting the angle to match the instrument panel within one degree, I clamped the center support in place. The center support was drilled to the rib and then taken off. The bracket was riveted to the bulkhead using the rivet gun and bucking bar and then the center support was riveted to the bracket. The center support was riveted to the center rib and the magnetometer was screwed into place.
If I encounter any alignment problems with the magnetometer, I could place some washers forward or aft under it to change its angle as needed.
