Brief Description:  Drilled the Fuel Selector Cover to the Floor Panel

I used the Scotchbrite wheel to trim off about 1/8" on the bottom of the side cover pieces. This was done so that the side covers will lie on the floor and on the floor stiffeners. I bent the bottom of the side cover pieces in the vise so that they lay against the floor stiffeners. The side covers are bent toward the top cover. The fuel cover is a trapezoidal shape. I had to trim the aft angles on the side covers to they fit properly. I beveled the front underside edge of the top cover so that the trim bracket would fit closer in place. I also beveled the three aft edges of the top cover so that the edges aren't so sharp as they lay on the floor panels. I drilled pilot holes in the top cover and then drilled the top cover to the trim bracket with the #19 drill bit. I drilled the #40 holes in the trim bracket for the nutplate rivets and deburred all holes. The rivet holes were also countersunk. I clamped everything together again and positioned it in the fuselage. I found the center of the top cover and the center of the floor panel as reference points and drilled one screw hole in the top bracket, using the #21 strap duplicator to mark the hole. I drilled the hole to #19 size, installed a screw to stablilize the cover and matchdrilled the second hole in the floor panel. I took the cover off and marked off two holes forward of the existing holes. I drilled pilot holes in the top cover and then drilled #19 holes thru the top cover and the floor panels.
