Brief Description:  Instrument Panel needs to be set at 8 degrees

Took the plastic off and cleaned up the edges of some of the canopy side rail pieces. Measured and cut two brackets to be riveted to the canopy decks for the instrument panel screws. Cleaned up the edges. Checked the angle of the instrument panel and found it to be at about 9.5°. I talked with Lucas-TruTrak about the required angle for the ADI. He confirmed that the panel angle should be 8°. Started to look at how I could get the extra 1 1/2°. One option is to trim down the panel sides that rest on the canopy deck. Another option is to add spacers between the three nose ribs and the panel. The final option is to cut off the rib flanges and to extend the flanges by 1/4'' or so with brackets riveted to the rib.
