Cut lengths of tubing for static lines in fuselage. Assembled control sticks and rod on the bench to determine the proper length of the hex control rod and rod end bearings. Found that the plans call for the rod and bearings to be 19'', but my dimensions came up short at 18 1/2''. All controls are squared up. Applied torque seal to both ends of the hex control rod and rod end bearings.
Cut and trimmed the two fairing covers for the rudder cables coming thru the fuselage. Positioned covers and drilled them #40 holes to the fuselage. Deburred all holes.
