Brief Description:  TruTrak Pitch Servo/Rudder Cables Installed

5.3 3/17/08-Called John-TruTrak re alignment of the pitch servo control rod. He said that it did not matter which side of the elevator bellcrank the control rod is placed. The important thing is to have the control rod parallel to the elevator push-pull tube. I will email him some photos. Moved control rod to left side of bellcrank. Angle is better. Ran right rudder cable along fuselage and inserted snap-in bushings. Measured and drilled pilot holes for cable exit hole on right side. Used Dremel tool to enlarge hole. Filed edges. Used Scotchbrite wheel to clean edges of cable fairings. Originally thought that fairings went on inside, so the hole is larger than it needs to be. Drilled pilot hole for 509-8R8 screw. Screw will hold clamp for rudder cable. Took baggage bulkhead out. Had to drill out some pop-rivets. Also took out one side baggage panel from each side so that the rudder cables could be installed.
