Brief Description: Riveted Control Mount Brackets to Main Spar
Primed control mount brackets, using Sherwin-Williams 988 spray primer. Used rivet gun and AN126AD4 rivets to rivet control mounts to bulkhead. Reinserted wood spar substitutes and bolted them back into position. Bolted control rod to mount brackets to check movement of rod with seat ribs. Found that ribs' lightening holes needed to be trimmed for more upward movement of control rod. Used Dremel tool to trim ribs' holes. Filed edges smooth.
Trimmed right corner of right seat pan. Misread dimensions for depth of cutout and cut off an extra 1''.
One option will be to cut and rivet an add'l piece in that corner.
