Brief Description: Right wing aileron and flaps rigging
This is a bit difficult. Most of the problem is being overly concerned with a plane that flies crooked! Tried several methods to get flaps/ailerons fitted and rigged correctly. First attempt was to run boards shimmed from the wing leading edge to the flap/aileron trailing edges. Could not get good results at flap/aileron trailing edges.
Pulled boards back under wing to just get forward edges of flaps and ailerons flush with wing bottom. Braced trailing edges seperately. Aligned using 3/16" x 24 all thead through jig holes.
After consulting list, put emphasis on achieving the correct distance from the rear spar shown in the drawings.
For flap - rear spar to flap spar distance = 3 15/16"
For aileron - rear spar to aileron spar distance = 6 15/16"
