Drilled and reamed 3/8" x .065 x 2" bushings to 0.250". Installing the rear flap pulleys turned out to be an extreme excercise in patience. I fought with C-clamps for quite some time, trying to correctly position the bushing for welding. I finally gave up on the c-clamps and vise grip clamps and resorted to my trusty tie-wraps. Took a few minutes but got it to where I could tack the bushing. Both rear flap pulleys tacked in position.
Made fairlead tubes - 5 of them.
Drilled and reamed some 3/8" x .065 x 1 1/2" bushings for the forward flap pulleys. Also made the 1" legs from 3/8" tubing.
Started working on position for forward pulley location.
Determined flap arm travel is 30 deg forward and 40 degreee aft from drawing. Center of travel would be 5 deg aft. That will be the position that I center the forward pulley on.
