Brief Description: RH wingtip, and access panel cover.
Today I cut 4 strips of .025 1/2 inch wide for bearing strips in the wingtips. The plan is to dimple the metal strips, and the nutplates, so that when the nutplates are riveted on, the rivet head will be flush with the strip, and I will proseal them to the fiberglass tips. This is exactly what I did, and it worked great! While waiting on the sealant to cure, I started fabricating the access panel cover for the right wing.
