Well today, I put the completed front seat in place temporarily against the roll bar (temp installed). I then decided that I wanted a beefier forward floorboard. I'll be sitting here, plus the pasenger will be putting their feet there. So, I upsized in from .025" to .032. I know I am trying to build a light airplane, but I have personally lost 30 pounds, and I am ok with adding a few grams to this panel.
The new panel is cut, footwell recesses are cut, stiffeners are clecoed on. I need to build the actual footwells, and drill them to this panel.
