"Unusual hours in the shop today. I lit the smoker and put meat in about 0230 this morning. Since I was already up, I took on a few small projects that didn't require extreme mental aptitude due to the early morning. I chucked up a 1.5"" holesaw in the drill press, and WOW. It was a very sharp holesaw, medium teeth. It cut absolutely perfect holes with no jagged edges or chatter. Cutting 6 ribs time 2 holes, plus deburring took 10 minutes. (There was very little deburing needed)
I then drilled the tank ribs to the RH tank baffle, and put the skeleton on the skin for a rough fit check. I marked where the ribs go on the skin, and then fit all the stiffeners. I will drill them to the skin next time.
Image 3 shows the tank skeleton clecoed together, and roughly in place on the wing. (Will be about an inch farther inboard)"
