Brief Description: Installing the W-425 gussetts, and working on acce
Well, today started out great. I was careful when locating the W-425 lower gussett, to ensure that It did not 'pull' either of the ribs, and did not pull or bulge the skin. I ran into a mess after I had the gussett clecoed on. There is not room to install a reinforcement ring around the cutout, on which you install nutplates so the access panel can be removed by screws. I might try putting a joggle in the skin, or removing part of the flange on the gussett, and putting an angle on the lower side of it to regain the strength.
