A time consuming task, to consider the options, design and fabricate brackets to secure the female side of the Molex connectors. Typically this side would be source or hot and should be female and secured with a bracket, to minimize the potential of a hot wire making contact with the metal fuselage.
Made from 2025 (.025) AL Alclad sheet and the hole is made with a unibit and a file. This side of the Molex has the snap in to secure the connector.
There is sufficient area on the bracket to drill and mount these on the nearest rib, or bulkhead. They 'could' be riveted to a generic hole in a bulkhead, too. This would simplify a pass-through connection in some specific locations and avoid the sharp corners in a structure component.
Other misc tasks - including pick of the VP-100 from Ken, and brief review of cable harnesses.
