Brief Description: Mount master/starter relays - prelim
Still following details of the RV-7A F/W layout as depicted on the ES PC680 Option Kit instructions (from the RV-9A Preview Plans book).
The position dimensions of the doubler for the starter & master relays gave a measurement of 1" below a specific rivet in the vertical angle (top line #1) but that dimension did not place the relays in the position to intersect the F/W braces, so I dropped it approximately 1/2" lower. This line is the alignment of the upper bolt hole in the doubler and parallel to the bolt hole in the 45 deg brace on the (left) as seen in the picture. The lower hole then fell exactly on an existing rivet in the vertical brace.
Don't have the copper bar stock for the strap between the starter and master relays, nor the 1/4" nutplates (K1000-4) yet. Maybe in the next few days.
NOTE: Dimensions on the doubler and position are given to 1/32" like it really can be positioned that accurately - but the component has a slotted bolt hole to accomodate some sloppiness.
