Purchased some illuminated toggle switches from Radio Shack to prototype a circuit layout for the NAV position, strobe lighting, landing, and taxi lights. Concept of the circuits and clarification of the power and switch relationships.
Not very pretty but provides a way to work on the wingtip mounting of individual LEDs. This is a 'scratch built' lighting system and so a little prototyping is worth the cost of a few 'wasted' switches, scrap wire, and terminals (FastOn and ring).
Planned as a Day/Night VFR, the night lighting is important.
