A bit aggresive but decided to rough out the canopy on a 1st fit. Might as well get a feel for overall alignment before all the other tweaking on the canopy frame.
Note that the curvature of the bubble is way forward in the first picture but the first cut still is determined by the contour of the plexiglass itself. The second picture shows the change in contour line on the front of the bubble. Made the first cut there, Then trimmed the aft end by the same reasoning - removing the 'mold' edge (approx 1.5"). More later on the edges.
Also, for now the rollbar is removed, leaving only the canopy structure as a guide. It's actually a smidge higher than the rollbar (by 1/8") and will be adjusted as the canopy frame is tweaked.
The skin for the WD-616 canopy frame is not yet installed. But is irrelevant for a rough in step.
