Trimmed oil inspection door for hinge, layered some fiberglass clothe and a spacer on the cowl side of the hinge. Added spacer for the door side, too.
Trimmed fiberglass from the bottom cowl to better seat the hinge forward end where the cowl is very thick. Drilled holes in the bottom hinge half, folded and match-drill other half for the LT side. Drilled a few holes in the bottom hinge/cowl.
Did a test fit of the top cowl. Solid but will be a tight fit to install and remove. The hinges interlock physically in the process, without pins.
