Brief Description:  Canopy frame - weld repair

Stripped the canopy frame to basics and took it to the welder who was able to quickly tack and then lay a nice bead to re-weld the rt side fwd end. Needed to do a little filing on the outside to remove the tack welds, and prepare the surface for the skin.

Order for the replacement skin (C-602) should arrive on Mon/Tues and will duplicate about 85% and re-drill the fwd bow edge to conform to the new alignment of the frame. Should also have the new splice plate so I can modify the splice angle slightly. Will do the splice and then clean-up and re-prime the frame.

Spent a few minutes drilling the holes to mount the "field of tabs" ground block on the firewall. Need to retrieve the engine side of the block before I can tighten it up.

Also ordered the Dynon EMS module and engine probes from Aircraft Spruce. Will be ordering modules to be able to mount them during the implementation of wiring. A few at a time.
