Brief Description:  Canopy frame - weldment problem

Having previously ignored the magnitude of the bad weld on the rt side of the canopy frame weldment, I decided it was time to review and address the alignment problem. Cut the weldment and filed off the residual weld, and now need to have the frame re-welded, with proper alignment and replace the C-602 Tip-Up Canopy Skin --- a painful and wasteful exercise but it won't be right without doing this.

Could have done this before spending so much time on the alignment of everything else and leaving this issue til last.

Spent even more time trimming and fitting the C-602 canopy skin, before making the decision.

Tonight at the EAA BOD meeting I was given the name of a guy near FFZ who does Alum welding, so I can quickly get with him and move forward with the new skin in a few days.
