Brief Description: Engine condition review

Bought the engine with FWF - bent engine mount still served as a stand. Note that all accessories and baffles are intact, as well as, oil cooler. Exhaust will be removed and sold, and probably the vac pump. Think a LASAR ignition so the 2nd mag may go, but don't understand that conversion yet.
First inspection reveals nothing new, nothing I missed before purchase. Next step will be to remove the baffles, engine mount, carb, exhaust, and miscellaneous. I've ordered an engine stand, and some additional documentation. Using a Superior manual as a guide, I'll start by getting it stripped down, documented, and on the engine stand.
We will be enclosing the carport soon (July) and then I'll have a workshop - finally. Will still consider storing some stuff (wing cart and stuff) at Falcon Field in a storeroom.
Guess it's time to apply for that N-number from FAA.
