Started routing the elev trim cable. First obstacle was the diameter of the fwd connector, it won't pass thru the F-604 bulkhead. Not wanting to enlarge that hole or the one in the Lt wing spar, I examined the connector and discovered the snap-ring that releases the threaded end. Without that end, the cable housing exactly fits thru the holes.
I didn't want to interfere with the elevator push rods in the tunnel and routed thru the removable rib and under the pilot seat floor and baggage floor. This required a similar hole to be drlled and enlarged in the F-605 and F-606 bulkheads at appropriate spots. (See next entry for photos).
Preliminary routing took the aft end of the cable all the way to the elevator trim tab.
