Continued working on the 'batt box conversion' to a control console for the Fuel, Flaps, and Elev Trim.
Riveted up the 'house' on top of the old box. This will be a mounting place for the manual elevator trim knob and electric flap switch.
Cut away a portion of the sides to allow the fuel lines to enter from the wings, and connect to the fuel selector. May have to modify this again but it's a start. Found that the vernier trim knob and mounting nut separates from the actual 'cable' itself. Will use this knowledge to facilitate installation in the fuselage and be able to withdraw the fwd end to install the wings, then re-insert. This will allow the cable portion to be installed in the tunnel and under the seat floors now.
Hinge on the fwd edge will allow the box to be tilted down for connections and inspections (like tilt-cab trucks).
