Brief Description:  More on rudder pedals

#1 shows the F-6118 with one major lightening hole. Will consider more when I'm sure where the brake lines will pass. Notice the extra length on the AFT end of the brace, needed for allowing adjustments in the pedal distance. However, my concern about this length is possible injuries in relatively minor accidents (knees). This brace is modifable in the future if I shorten it now, my legs won't get any shorter (Sale issues?).

If I leave the extra length, then this brace will be drilled for at least two positions of the pedals, probably three. One position will be a complete bolt distance to the rear, and a middle position which would be half that.

Next step is to disassemble and drill the UHMW side blocks for 3/16th attach bolts. Drill press is setup now. Will use the 'increment distances' of the F-6118 brace as the guide and match the sides for three positions.

Need to double check insertion into the UHMW blocks to avoid putting pressure on the fuselage skins if the entire assembly is too long. Also, the primer needs adjustments for the center block (one primered and one not, and it's off the block.)
