Decided to ignore the wings for a few days to get refreshed and finish up the brake pedals to keep pace with the control tube powder coating work.
Drilled out to #30 and countersunk for smooth, snag-free surfaces. Brake cylinder attach holes are left for mounting the tubes and setting up alignment.
Drilled out the pivot bolts for the AN3 bolts and picked fasteners from the bins. Seem to be short on 'castle nuts' and will have to do a list of supplies from Vans soon.
Hand squeezed the rivets and set everything aside - awaiting future assembly in fuselage.
Pictures should be self-explanatory.
UPDATE: Decided (finally) that powder coating was a nice to have but unnecessary. WIll use Sherwing Williams GBP988 self etching primer. May also do select a paint, probably white or grey.
