More details as I work through the 'squaks' on the final list.
Checked the fasteners in the L wing before preparing to rivet the last wing top skin. Needed to add two small washers to the control tube Heim joint, and put the correct AN3-10A bolt in the fitting. (Temporary bolt during construction had not been swapped.) All done right now.Torqued to spec.
Added a piece of 'caution tape' to the panel for the Alternate Air pull knob. Pulling this in flight requires 'land as soon as practical' to reset the cover on the FAB. Highlights the use of this control and differentiates from the Cabin Heat knob. (Knobs on THIS subpanel are 'flgitht controls')
Swapped the DPDT (ON-ON) switch for the NAV & NAV/STROBE, to an ON-OFF-ON DPDT. This allows a totally OFF position not previously anticipated. Intent was to always have at least NAV lights ON, but during testing the battery was taking a hit. (CB was being turned OFF to avoid this). The convenience of OFF is now available.
