Brief Description:  Rudder pedal control tubes

Fine tuning the rigging and alignment of the rudder cables was a priority but it required change trimming of the rudder pedal control tubes. The end which attaches (pedal) to the rudder cable [right pedal, right rudder] needed to be shorteded to get cable aligned.

Cables pass thru a grommet on the fuselage side support (near subpanel) and the angle of the cable was too far to in-board side of grommet, on both pedals. After using washers to align the cables the measurement required to trim was established, the tube was trimmed off and deburred.

The amount of tube removed will now require an extended tube end on the opposite side. Will contact Vans tech support and a michine shop to fabricate the change.
