Worked on ailerons (no pics), starting with neutralizing and pinning each side, then adjusting the control tubes (Heim joints), and attachment fasteners. Reviewed call-outs for spacers, bolts, and washers. Removed right wingtip to file a larger notch for the right aileron UP full-range of motion.
Similar adjustments on left aileron. Also adjusted the fittings on the control tubes from the bellcranks to the control sticks. Adjusted pilot stick to confirm vertical alignment with ailerons neutralized. Documented aileron UP and DOWN limts and STOP block limits.
Identified interference with UP position on the right elevator caused by temporary pin in the pivot (replaced with bolt). Elevator range of motion now from stop to stop on the horns. Shortened the forward elevator control tube to get full control of elevator travel.
Riveted angle to perimeter of the instrument panel, using squeezer. Primed pieces before assembly.
Worked on the fuel pump/filter 'dog house' to fabricate attachment. Cut-out for the manual trim cable will allow the manual trim above fuel selector.
