Visited local hardware store that has a real neighborhood flavor and reputation for fasteners.
Surprised to find deburring tool, fly-cutter, and drill stops - unlike the 'big box store" that had practically nothing.
Was able to find replacement 3" ScotchBrite pads for my ROLOC quick-change drill arbor at the local speciality auto paint shop.
Unfortunately, they seem unable to identify the type of sandpaper and insisted that the wetordry 3M Imperial paper was Alum Oxide. After returning home, I rechecked this on the 3M website and could NOT identify it as such, in fact, it seems to clearly be Silicon Carbide.
Need to find out if some ALUM OXIDE in proper fine grit would be able to address skin scratch repairs. On the other hand, it appears that SctochBrite pads of varying coarseness will do the basic job.
